I would like to personally thank promoter Mike Feulner
for giving me the opportunity to compete in this great event. Mike is one of
the greatest promoters in the world. Special thanks to IFBB Pro and judge
tonight Jose Raymond. Jose is one of the best bodybuilders in the world and it
was an honor to stand before you on stage and earn your 1st place
vote. IFBB Figure Pro Amy Puglise, it was honor to meet you in person. You are
truly a credit to the fitness industry. Thank you so much for all the kind
words you said to me while I was waiting to walk onto the stage. God Bless you
always Amy. Special thanks to the man, my friend, police officer and go to guy
Larry Cuzzi. Thank you my brother for going on the journey with me, I couldn’t
have done it without you and all of the inspiration and motivation you gave me
to stay mentally tough and keep going. As I told people before this show I felt
in my heart there was something special about it. It was exactly 1 month to the
day my grandfather died. He was like my father. One month to the day I was at
his bedside as the very last person to tell him how much he was loved before
God called him home. I told people if I won my class I would dedicate it to him
but to win all 3 classes and take the Overall Men’s Physique Championship it
was like something out of a movie. I told people if won the overall title I
would get emotional. It didn’t happen on stage but it did on film right here in
this post-show video. I did get very emotional here when I said that I dedicate
this night, “to the greatest man I have ever known…..my grandfather, Bill
Hafner.” When I gave my thank you speech after this event it really came from
my heart. I wanted those special people to know how much I appreciate them and
how thankful I am to God for granting me this moment. I did work very hard and
I am honored as I will forever look back on this night as one of my life’s
greatest.
