as a trademark by the company. Ellora's Cave also employs a rating system for
the erotica it publishes. In 2012, it was estimated that Ellora's Cave sold
200,000 books a month and their best-selling subgenre is BDSM (Bondage,
Discipline, Sadism, Masocism) erotic romance. A few notable authors from
Ellora's Cave include Jaid Black, Sylvia Day, Angela Knight, Lora Leigh,
December Quinn, Shoshanna Evers, Shiloh Walker, Naima Simone, Laurann Dohner
and Joey W. Hill.
