John Quinlan - Powerhouse Gym Classic 2014 Men's Physique Master's Competitor Personal Highlight of My Night

I placed 3rd in the Men's Physique Master's class last night at the NPC Powerhouse Classic. The highlight of the night for me was a man and his 5 year old son Aiden came over to me and he said, "you were the guy who won in Rhode Island 2 years ago, I remember you." The little boy shook my hand and to him I was like a super hero, so great I made such an impact on this young boy who reminded me of one of my own sons. Hey, I might not have won last night on points but in the game of life I did because I made this little kids night, just an awesome moment!

2012 NPC USA Recap by John Quinlan

Just wanted to recap the 2012 NPC Men's Physique Nationals. Great show, mega talented competitors. I am honored to have just qualified for this event in Las Vegas. Had a ton of video clips filmed just because, ha ha ha! Thanks to Ms. Chopps for uploading and tagging all this, luv ya! Just more video footage to show the kids and grand kids when I am old and in a damn wheelchair, LMFAO! Now that I look back on it I think there was too much stuff filmed but at this point I could really care less, ha ha ha! Great experience I will take with me to my grave. 2012 NPC Masters Recap by John Quinlan

To answer the question so many have asked me....."do you think your tattoos hurt you more that help you?" I have always been unique and I like to be different in my own way so if in fact they did hurt me in competition my answer is, "oh well." There are far greater problems in this world than "nit-picking" over body art. Bottom line is I LIKE WHO I AM AND I AM PROUD TO BE DIFFERENT, nuff said. Competing in the Men's Physique 35 and over class brought out some amazing talent. Here are a few video clips from Universe weekend, all kind of the same. PS, I am not a video guy so the vids that were filmed by me and not somebody else might be a bit off but I have admitted that I am not good at it so I am vindicated, ha ha ha! Again, just did these to do them to show my grand kids when I am like 90 years old, lol!!!!!

It was a real honor as well to meet and become friends with many of the great people involved with the NPC like Big Mike Feulner just to name one of the many. Special thanks to Ms. Diesel K. for adding a video of me this morning to YouTube. It is a clip from back in June the night before the 2012 NPC Atlantic States competition. I competed in the Men's Physique Division at this show and they broke a record with almost 400 competitors. This show was put on by Bev Francis and her husband Steve Weinberger. I had the honor of meeting both of them and they are wonderful good people. Much respect for the NPC and all the athletes, God Bless :)

2012 NPC Masters Men's Physique Competitor John Quinlan

It was an honor to compete this past weekend at the NPC Teen, Collegiate & Masters Bodybuilding Championships in Pittsburgh, PA. I competed in the Masters Men’s Physique 35-40 class A (short class). Hung out with some great competitors backstage, great atmosphere. Here are a few images of me from the show & thanks bro for sending me these, first are a few on stage shots.

Here is an on stage group photo taken of me (3rd from the right) with a few of the other competitors. Ryan Fisher (right next to me) won the class. Congrats to him! I actually was hanging with him backstage before the show, very cool guy…top notch!

The last photo here was taken outside the show after pre-judging.

on Earth which premiered at Cannes - it sounds funny but was
a big hit, about a
1950s astronaut that gets pegged as a commie by his Martian neighbor, it has
50-foot women, cops, green screen, animation, puppeteering, and lots of
references to classic cinema, B-cinema, sci-fi genre. When we follow up with a
sequel, would be great to have you in it. You could play such an interesting
character, like a super violent menacing fighter with a heart of gold - like a
gentle giant. Written with lots of humor which is our forte. Your training is
impeccable, and you fit the part perfectly.
