I Sincerely Apologize to the NPC for Being Careless and Irresponsible by John Quinlan

I Sincerely Apologize to the NPC for Being Careless and Irresponsible

I sincerely apologize to the entire NPC for being careless and irresponsible at the Brooklyn Grand Prix this past Saturday October 5th. I was in the Men's Physique Open and Master's class and I had stepped outside the back of the venue for a few moments with many of the other competitors and I didn't hear my number called when the Master's Physique was starting. I had just finished talking with bodybuilder Quesi Beaton when one of the guys came out and said one of the physique classes was starting. Careless because I just assumed the open physique was before the masters and I was class B so I just assumed class A was the one out there and I would come in then. Lesson learned to NEVER ASSUME ANYTHING! I always check the list on the wall and know the correct order, careless because I trained hard for 12 weeks, careless because I have too much respect for the NPC, irresponsible because I know better and just plain stupid because so many people believed in me and I let them down because of my own negligence. When I finally did make it to the stage my lineup of guys in the Master’s Physique were already out there. I got out there so late and I never make mistakes like that. I did apologize to a few members of the judging panel during the show. I have to much respect for the NPC to make any excuses.  I apologize to the NPC coordinators, the judges and the entire organization for my lack of professionalism. I am truly sorry. There will be more shows in the future and I appreciate Amy Puglise for being so nice when I contacted her about it. You are right when you asked me from this point on will I ever make this mistake again. Lesson learned it will never happen again.

My True Opinion of the NPC & Special Thanks to Larry Cuzzi by John Quinlan

In one week I will be competing at the NPC Brooklyn Grand Prix in the Men’s Physique Open & Master’s class on October 5th. A friend of mine sent me this today and I thought it was a special post so I thought I would share it with you. I wrote this on July 12, 2012 and it was titled, ‘Great People & Great Shows…..My True Opinion About The NPC by John Quinlan.’ It will be an honor for me to be back on the NPC stage again! So here is what I wrote,

“I know I have said these same things I am about to write at this moment before and in a previous post but I just wanted to thank the NPC for making the 2012 Team Universe Weekend 2 great shows one more time. Oh, and before I forget, I would like to personally thank David Lees who competed at the Team Universe Men’s Physique. I was hanging out with Dave and a few of his friends who run a forum on Muscular Development before we hit the stage for the finals. David Lees is a true professional with a great attitude, very humble and respectful. Strong with great musculature….a great physique! Congrats Dave to you and your wife on expecting your baby girl in October. May God watch over you and your family always. I really enjoyed competing in the Men's Physique Class B this past weekend in Teaneck, New Jersey, I gave it my best and I have much respect for everybody involved. All the classes had some of the best physique's....these guys are all warriors and I have 100% respect for each and every one of my fellow competitors. I had the honor of meeting Bev Francis at the Team Universe as well, what a very nice lady! Her husband Steve Weinberger was a very classy guy as well, I thank both of them for being so kind to me. I also spoke briefly with Jose Raymond, great guy. The true definition of what a champion bodybuilder should look like. It was funny because as kids I grew up in Melrose, Massachusetts and Jose was in the next town over in Wakefield. I told Jose I remembered playing baseball against him in an all-star game when we were 14 years old and he thought it was funny when I told him that when the announcer said……”now batting, Jose Raymond”….Jose was pinch hitting, my entire team on the bench had the look of fear, ha ha ha! Even the toughest guys on my team looked scared. Yeah, Jose was even gifted as an athlete at this age. I have never seen a kid with genetics that impressive, I knew he was destined for greatness and I was right. Best of luck at the Olympia Jose! And of course I have to give credit where credit is due to the Biggest Dog, Big Mike Feulner. Mike, you will always be the man and thanks for the kind words you had for me. I respect everything you do my friend! Great job at these shows, I would do them until I was 100 years old if I could. For all the love & respect I have for this industry and all the people in it. The thrill of competing knowing you would be there running the show would keep me coming back bro. Thanks Again!”

I just wanted to thank my friend Larry Cuzzi for everything he has done for me. Thanks for the advice on everything when I need it and inspiring me with your hard work ethic. It will be an honor again to go with you to my NPC show in Brooklyn on October 5th, the Brooklyn Grand Prix Men's Physique Open & Master's class. Thanks man for making the journey with me as you motivate me more than anybody....you take me right back to the old school days of us training in World Gym, Lynnfield. Miss that time and all the great people that went there. Hey man, as one of my best friends.....I promise you this, I will try my best for you in this show. I have worked hard and I just wanted say how appreciative I am.

- God Bless

John Quinlan - 2013 NPC Vermont Men’s Physique Overall Champion

*****ON STAGE FILM JUST UPLOADED FROM THIS GREAT SHOW*****

John Quinlan - 2013 NPC Vermont Men’s Physique Overall Champion

I would like to thank God for allowing me to sweep all 3 Men’s Physique classes winning the Open Men’s Physique class, the Master’s Men’s Physique class and the Overall Men’s Physique Championship title at the 2013 NPC Vermont Bodybuilding Championships on April 27th. As a male model it felt great being up on stage in front of such an incredible crowd. It was truly one of the greatest nights of my life. I would like to personally thank promoter Mike Feulner for giving me the opportunity to compete in this great event. Mike is one of the greatest promoters in the world and it was great to see him again. After the show I was able to speak with Mike. Among other things I told Mike how much I respected him as a promoter, human being and personal friend of mine. Just amazing! I would like to thank the judging panel for believing in me. It was an honor standing before you in 3 separate line ups. I would like to thank IFBB Pro Jose Raymond. Jose is one of the best bodybuilders in the world. The kindness and words of encouragement you have shown me will forever be appreciated. “You’re an amazing athlete and friend Jose, proud of you for everything you have done in the bodybuilding and fitness world…..honored to call you my friend.” IFBB Figure Pro Amy Puglise, it was honor to meet you in person. You are truly a credit to the fitness industry. Thank you so much for all the kind words you said to me while I was waiting to walk onto the stage. You are a beautiful person inside and out! God Bless you always Amy. Special thanks to the man, my friend, police officer and go to guy Larry Cuzzi. Thank you my brother for going on the journey with me, I couldn’t have done it without you and all of the inspiration and motivation you gave me to stay mentally tough and keep going. As I told people before this show I felt in my heart there was something special about it. It was exactly 1 month to the day my grandfather died. He was like my father. One month to the day I was at his bedside as the very last person to tell him how much he was loved before God called him home. I told people if I won my class I would dedicate it to him but to win all 3 classes and take the Overall Men’s Physique Championship it was like something out of a movie. I told people if won the overall title I would get emotional. It didn’t happen on stage but I did speak after the event on camera and I thanked a few special people about my win. I did get very emotional on film when I said that I dedicate this night, “to the greatest man I have ever known…..my grandfather, Bill Hafner.” When I gave my thank you speech after this event it really came from my heart. I wanted those special people to know how much I appreciate them and how thankful I am to God for granting me this moment. I did work very hard and I am honored as I will forever look back on this night as one of my life’s greatest.

God Bless,

John

2012 Rhode Island Bodybuilding Championships Men’s Physique Final Call-Out for the Overall Title by John Quinlan

Just wanted to give a special shout out again to one of the greatest model athletes in the world today, Anton Antipov. It was a honor my friend being on stage with you at the 2012 Rhode Island Bodybuilding Championships Men’s Physique Final call-out for the overall title. I couldn’t have lost to a better person especially that you are a Physique Pro now. Congrats again on that, you deserve it!

PS, Ha ha ha, sorry again man when I met you last May in New Jersey and didn’t even know you yet and you came up to me at the intermission and said, “hey can I go sleep in your car?” I was like, “who the f**k is this guy, LOL!!!! Hey man, my car is your car now, LOL!  All good, keep I touch. Thanks

Athletic Xtreme's Mass FX Supplement Review by John Quinlan

I like how Mass FX by Athletic Xtreme does one thing pure and simple….raise your testosterone level by up to 98% NATURALLY! As a natural physique competitor this is totally one of the best supplements on Earth. I love the simple process by which an athlete can boost his natural testosterone level by preventing SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin) from binding to testosterone. Your free testosterone instead binds to androgen receptors within muscle cells and sets the path for increases in muscle mass and strength. One of the best things about Mass FX that I like is it is FREE FROM NEGATIVE SIDE EFFECTS and is completely safe as it utilizes the body’s natural existing free testosterone to increase lean muscle mass. A+ supplement! 5 Star Rating!!!!!

Yes, there was a few vids from the 2012 NPC Universe weekend. Competing in the Men's Physique division was an honor, great talent! Here are some links, after photo shoots and before the contests. There are a bunch but who the hell cares, ha ha ha, it only happens once so if I just ramble on I really didn't care when I was doing them...just did them to do them if that makes sense :)
