A Special Thanks to 'MY BODYBUILDING NETWORK' by John Quinlan

Jillian Bullock 'One of The Greatest Women of Our Time' by John Quinlan
I just wanted to let the world know about a very special lady that I have had the honor of interacting with, Jillian Bullock. For me to say Jillian is amazing is an under statement. She has accomplished so many things and won a number of awards in her life BUT the most impressive thing to me about Jillian is how much she has helped others. She overcame so many obstacles growing up and has made it her life helping others overcome them as well. There are too many things to list that Jillian has done so if you click on the link below you can read about all of them.....from working on the set of Spike Lee's film 'Malcolm X' in 1991 to starring in the show 'WXW Rage TV' there is practically nothing she hasn't seen or done. I just want to say that John Quinlan is honored to be friends with the one and only Jillian Bullock. You are a true inspiration to me and the entire world.

The Night Before The Jay Cutler Classic by John Quinlan
The Big Dog just uploaded this clip to YouTube. Not the best
quality film but I just wanted to thank all the people that helped me along the
way with this being the night before the show and to let all the judges, my fellow competitors and everybody involved
with the 2012 NPC Jay Cutler Classic how much I respect them for all their hard
work and dedication. I am honored to be part of this great show and I dedicate
it to my fallen friend Manny Catalano who passed away in October of 2005.
Thanks everybody!

Gym Shoot & Photo Updates by John Quinlan
Hello Everybody,
Just a few updates to add for you. I had a great photo shoot today at Total Fitzness Gym in Wolcott, Connecticut. I would like to personally thank gym owner Dave Fitzpatrick for being so nice to me. This kid is a class act. Dave is in his mid 20's and owns his own gym and just competed in a bodybuilding show where he did very well. Dave has an amazing story as he is back at the top of his game after a car accident nearly took his life. You are a true example of inspiration, courage and determination Big Dave. You have my 100% respect always. Also want to thank John of BBPics.com for shooting some video of me as well as some new images. Both John and Dave really made this shoot come together for me and I appreciated that so much. There are also a few new YouTube videos added by The Big Dog just a couple hours ago from the shoot. Thanks so much as always my friend :) Check out the links and images below from everything that went on today. Thanks everybody for all the love and support!

Post Workout Shoot Interview by John Quinlan
Just wanted to give everybody an update right now. Here is a post workout shoot type interview that I just did. The film was added by The Big Dog....thanks :) I just briefly share my thoughts about my first show of the year in about a week, the NPC Jay Cutler Classic. I will be competing in the Men's Physique Division. I do mention how much respect I have for my fellow competitors, judges and all the athletes that step on stage at this great event. Jay Cutler is running the show and he is the guest poser as well so it should be great and I am honored to be part of it. Thanks everybody for all the love and support throughout my months of training. Much Love!

Update On My Training & Diet by John Quinlan
Well I am almost through February (2012) and I have been training decent since the first of the year. So basically about several weeks now and I feel pretty good. The main thing is that I stay healthy this time around. The past couple years I was injured and I made a few nutritional mistakes along the way as well. Some of these nutritional mistakes I think were because my mind set was that of when I was in my mid 20's and not my mid 30's. Funny because I still feel like I am in my early 20's mentally and physically. Hopefully with this mind set I will age gracefully then, ha ha ha! I am going to try and pay attention a bit more this time to my sodium intake, my overall carbohydrates and cardio work. These 3 things in the past have been a bit off so I think if I can get these down just right I should be ok.....I hope. My goal is to stay injury free straight through May and June so I have a fighting chance in my Physique competitions. To be honest, my main goal this time is that when people I know see me......they say, "he looked good." I tell people I just want to make this time around "respectable". One thing is for sure, I have 100% respect for all the judges and my fellow competitors. What I am most proud of over the years (and I am actually very humbled by to be completely honest) is how many people talk positive of me. You all know who you are and I thank each and every one of you for all the kind words! God Bless you all!!!!!! Hey, as far as these physique competitions go, all I can do is go out there and do the best I can. Work hard to prepare through good diet and consistent exercise and may God watch over me. Hopefully this blue collared tattooed Irish guy from Boston, Massachusetts can make those he represents proud come May and June. The only thing I can promise is I will work hard to make it happen, the rest is out of my hands. Thanks for reading and much love!
God Bless

Wes Welker Will Always Be The Man by John Quinlan
As a huge Patriots fan I was rooting big time for them to pull off a victory at Super Bowl 46 against the Giants. It didn't happen as they came up short 21-17. A lot of the talk was about some of the missed plays of the game on the part of the Patriots, especially Wes Welker's dropped ball. Here is a great article to read and it shows what a polite and humble guy Wes Welker is:
Wes Welker is one of the greatest wide receivers the game of football has ever known. The pressure in that situation was at an all-time high.....playing in the biggest game of the season in front of thousands of screaming fans analyzing your every move along with millions watching you all over the world, stuff happens. Welker mentioned it was a play he has made a thousand times that he never drops and always makes. He also noted it was the most critical situation and he let the team down. Personally I have to say.....Wes, if it wasn't for your amazing play during the regular season the Patriots probably wouldn't even be in the Super Bowl. Because of you, year in and year out New England has excelled. Don't beat yourself up man, it's one play! You will always be the man! One of the greatest ever! Tom Brady commented as well saying,"I'll keep throwing the ball to him for as long as I possibly can.....I love that guy." I respect Wes Welker as a person and an athlete. I admire him also for his attitude, he never makes excuses or blames other people. Players on both sides of the ball played competitively which made this a great battle. Each and every player gave it 100% to the very end. Hey Wes Welker, you are not known as one of the best receivers to have ever played this game for nothing, you earned that through hard work, consistency and putting up incredible numbers.....you will always be the man!

2011-2012 New England Patriots by John Quinlan
Congrats to the New England Patriots for going to the Super Bowl this year. This was especially true for Patriots owner Bob Kraft who lost his wife Myra on July 20, 2011. We all know what an amazing and generous woman Myra Kraft was and all the players loved her.
More on Myra Kraft Here
I am so very happy for Bob Kraft and his entire family. The Patriots have kept the Kraft's and Myra's spirit close to their hearts throughout the season and this past week's victory over the Baltimore Raven's which put them in the Super Bowl against the New York Giants was dedication to Mrs. Kraft.
Brian Fox did an incredible job designing the inspirational painting about Mrs. Kraft!
God Bless the Patriots on Super Bowl Sunday, win this one for Myra Kraft!
